Higher Ed Scholarships
In an effort to promote the benefits of higher education in the field of theatre and the performing arts, CAST’s goal is to award scholarships to worthy area high school graduates and current college students. All students are welcome to apply for the CAST scholarships but special consideration will be given to those who have participated in past CAST productions and are pursuing a career in the performing arts.
Scholarships will be available to the recipients as a one-time funding and applicants must apply every year to be considered for another scholarship.
To be eligible, the following criteria must be met:
Attend an accredited technical college or university, and enroll as a full-time student in the fall semester immediately following the awarded scholarship.
Applications must include two letters of recommendation. One must come from a community member outside of the school system.
Also include a one-page essay: Include your experience with fine arts in high school and the community, goals for the future, and financial need.
